Most drop leg panels do one thing and one thing only. They hold a pistol. This one's different because Lancer built it as a modular system rather than a fixed assembly. The MOLLE panel sits on the leg, the holster attaches to it, and the two accessory pouches click into the panel where you want them. Everything detaches.
What it holds. The holster cup accommodates pistols with barrels from two to five inches, which covers the vast majority of full-size and mid-size 1911s and GLOCKs you'll see on the field. There's an integrated magazine pouch on the front for one spare mag. The two additional accessory pouches run small enough for chargers, spare nubs, or a couple of mags if the pistol mag pouch is already busy. They're removable, so if you don't need them you can leave them off or move them to a thigh bag.
Fit and adjustability. The panel wraps around the leg with adjustable straps at both the knee and the thigh, and the holster itself can be mounted to face left or right. The whole thing stays put during a game and doesn't walk down your leg when you're moving. That's the baseline you need.
Material. 600 denier nylon. Tough enough for regular skirmish use, not the heaviest webbing on the table, but light enough that you won't notice it during a long event.
Who needs it. Anyone running a pistol as a backup who doesn't want to stuff it into a belt pouch and dig for it under pressure. Also useful as a primary carry platform if you prefer the leg over the belt and want something more adaptable than a fixed holster.
