When you're moving through a building or playing in low light, you need to identify targets and point accurately at the same time. The PL480 is Lancer Tactical's answer: a 480-lumen white LED with an integrated red laser in one rail-mounted unit.
Output and run time. 480 lumens is enough to throw a real working beam into a room or hallway, not a token glow. Runtime depends on how you use it: the built-in 500mAh battery runs up to 1.5 hours on white light alone, or about 1 hour with both light and laser on. It's a unit for games and low-light scenarios, not something you leave on all day. Charge it up between sessions if you plan to run it hard.
The laser. Adjustable elevation and windage mean you can zero it to your point of impact — a couple of trips to the range with a few rounds at the distance you play most. It holds once you set it. Worth doing if you actually plan to use the laser for aiming, not just ambiance.
Mounting. The aluminum alloy head and PA6 glass-filled nylon clamp body keep it sturdy on the rail. It mounts to standard Picatinny or Weaver rails. The magnetic charging port sits on the body so you can recharge without unclamping the unit — you just plug the connector in and leave the light mounted.
Before you buy. Internal battery means no swapping cells mid-game. If your session runs long, you'll want a charged battery or a spare unit. USB charging is straightforward, and the package includes the magnetic charging connector, USB cable, Allen wrench, screwdriver, and manual.
