A tactical vest that's actually light enough to forget you're wearing it, with enough structure to keep your pouches from sliding around and two plate pockets that give you something to brace against when you drop to a knee. The Lancer Tactical Standard Issue is for players who want a plate-carrier silhouette and a bit of forward protection without committing to the weight of real inserts.
Plate pockets that do something. There are two pockets on the front and a single pocket on the rear, sized to accept soft dummy plates or actual protective inserts depending on what your field allows. Slide a pair of dummy plates in, and you've got a solid surface to rest your rifle on and something between your chest and the BBs when someone shoots over your shoulder. Leave them out, and the vest weighs roughly the same as a thick t-shirt. The plate system is the thing that separates this from a soggy cummerbund, and it's the first thing you should sort before game day.
MOLLE that actually holds its shape. The chest is covered in MOLLE webbing, which is what you use to hang mags, utility pouches, med kits, whatever your loadout calls for. A vest with floppy MOLLE lets pouches flip around and get in the way. This one's backed by 1000D nylon, so the attachment points are solid and your pouches stay where you put them. No plate carriers are included — you'll need to buy them separately.
Adjustable, not fussy. Side straps let you dial in the fit across chest sizes. It's not a precision adjustment system, but it does what it needs to — keeps the vest from riding up when you're moving and from sagging when you're standing still. The 1000D nylon construction resists snags and tears through normal play — rough terrain, sliding across concrete, the usual stuff.
Who it's for. Entry-level players who want to look the part without a heavy investment. Veteran players who want a lightweight vest for quick events, tournaments where every ounce matters, or a fallback carrier they don't mind scuffing up. It's a practical, no-nonsense vest, not a custom rig — if you want full plate carrier weight and military-grade specs, look at a full carrier build instead.
What else you'll need. Pouches, inserts, and anything else that lives on the MOLLE are sold separately. The vest itself is just the vest.
