The forward flag is the US flag with the star field on the hoist side, so when you wear it on the right shoulder, the stripes stream backward like the flag is flying in the wind as you move. Standard across all US branches since 2003, when the uniform regulations made it the required orientation for right-side patches.


This one is large — the standard field size that sits visible on a plate carrier shoulder or MOLLE panel. Embroidered nylon construction with an OD Green backing, which is the color that blends with the loadout it's pinned to. Hook-and-loop backing on the reverse for quick swap.


Patch only. If you're not carrying a hook panel, you'll need a loop patch to mount onto.
