Laylax Block Series Plastic 14mm CCW Flash Hider, Yellow

The Block Series flash hider from Laylax is a straightforward solution for a problem every airsoft player faces: you need a muzzle device that threads on and stays put, without adding unnecessary weight or cost. This is a plastic construction flash hider designed for the 14mm CCW threading standard found on most airsoft rifles. That negative thread is the industry norm, so it fits the vast majority of M4, AK, and similar platforms without requiring an adapter.

What a flash hider actually does. It redirects gas exiting the barrel to break up the muzzle flash and reduce the visible signature when you shoot. On gas blowback rifles this is a genuine benefit, especially in lower-light conditions. On AEGs the effect is more subtle since there's no expanding gas, but it still helps with flash suppression and can slightly improve the look of your setup. It also serves as a protective cap for the inner barrel end.

Plastic versus metal. This unit is molded from plastic rather than machined aluminum or steel. That keeps weight down and makes it inexpensive, but it also means it won't handle sustained heat the way a metal brake would. For typical skirmish use it's perfectly adequate. If you're running high-RPS setups or extended mag dumps, a metal muzzle device is the more durable choice.

The bright yellow finish makes this a distinctive option for those who want their muzzle to stand out. It's purely cosmetic—there's no functional difference between this and a black or OD Green version of the same design. Package includes the muzzle brake itself, ready to thread onto any 14mm CCW barrel.
