Most players start with 0.20g BBs because they're cheap and work everywhere. But once you're playing outdoors or dealing with wind, that light weight becomes a liability. Heavier BBs hold their line better and resist wind drift, which is why serious skirmishers keep a bag of 0.25g or 0.30g in their kit.
These LCT 0.30g BBs sit at the heavier end of the spectrum. That weight means you're trading some velocity for stability—a gun that chronos 400 FPS on 0.20g will run closer to 350 on 0.30g, which actually helps you stay inside outdoor caps while keeping your shots on target. The 6mm diameter is the universal airsoft standard, so these fit any AEG, GBB, or bolt-action that takes 6mm BBs.
Where 0.30g earns its keep. Outdoor fields running 400 FPS or higher benefit from the extra mass, especially in anything but dead-calm conditions. The heavier projectile cuts through wind better and maintains energy downrange, which translates to more consistent grouping at 150 feet and beyond. If you're chasing accuracy over raw velocity, this is the weight to try.
What to watch for. Not every gun handles heavy BBs well. Lower-powered CQB builds may struggle to feed 0.30g reliably, and some tight-bore barrels prefer the lighter end of the spectrum. If you're running a high-powered field rifle with a quality hop-up, you'll probably see the benefit. If you're running a budget CQB AEG, stick with 0.20g or 0.25g. Always test a small batch before committing to a whole bag.
This is a 3335-round bag in white. White BBs are easy to spot in grass and foliage, which helps with recovery and reduces the chance of stepping on a stray BB later. Transferring to a harder container protects against crushing in a pack.
BBs are consumable—buy more than you think you'll need for a full day of skirmishing.
