Most tracer units are either buried inside the barrel, where a dead battery means field-side surgery, or bolted on as a separate accessory that adds bulk and looks bolted on. The LCT ZDTK-19 screws onto your rifle like any muzzle device and hides the electronics inside a mock suppressor body.

Green tracers let you see where your BBs are landing in low light. If your field runs night games or you're playing a milsim that goes past sunset, that visibility advantage is the difference between calling hits accurately and shooting blind. It also lets you dial in your aim and watch trajectory during practice without running back to the chrono station.

Thread compatibility. The unit carries dual threading: 14mm CCW on the muzzle end for standard rifle barrels — M4, AK, bolt-action, almost anything western-pattern — and 24mm CW on the other end for platforms that use that thread pitch. Screw it on like a flash hider, and you're done. Some AK-threaded barrels may need an adapter depending on your setup, so measure first.

Materials. Aluminum body with steel internals, anodized black. At roughly 7.0 ounces it's light enough that it doesn't throw your balance forward, but heavy enough that it doesn't wobble or feel cheap on the rail.

Before you buy. Tracer units run on a Li-Ion battery — check your specific model's requirements and carry a spare for a full night game. The battery and charger are not included. Some milsim events require team-specific tracer colors or ban tracers entirely for safety, so confirm your event rules before you invest. And remember: this adds a mock suppressor to the muzzle, so make sure your total barrel length still clears the field's chrono limits.
