A cut-off lever is the small part that stops your gearbox from double-stroking. When it wears out or breaks, you get two or three BBs per trigger pull instead of one, which wastes ammo and can jam the magazine. This Lonex lever replaces the stock plastic or stamped-steel version in Version 3 gearboxes with a machined alloy part that resists the wear that causes failure.
What the V3 means for upgrades. Version 3 gearboxes are the standard shell for AK platforms, G36s, SIGs, and MP5K-style guns. They have a thicker casting than V2 shells and a quick-change spring guide, so velocity tuning happens through the back without splitting the box. The cut-off lever sits inside that shell and is a common failure point on high-RPS setups or older boxes.
What you get. The package includes the steel cut-off lever, a replacement spring, and mounting screws. Installation requires splitting the gearbox and replacing the old lever, so plan for a full teardown or take it to a technician if you do not have gearbox experience.
Before you buy. This is an internal repair part, not an upgrade for performance gains. It fixes a broken or worn component rather than adding capability. If your gearbox is functioning normally, there is no reason to replace the lever. Compatible with Version 3 metal gearboxes only.
