Code 11 Gear MK5 Tactical Chest Rig, Black

Three mags across your chest, nothing else on your torso. That's the trade-off this rig makes: you keep the weight and heat out of your loadout and put what you need in front of you.

Why a chest rig instead of a vest. A plate carrier gives you armor and a big pocket for pouches behind it. A vest does plate carry plus admin and comms on the front. A chest rig is lighter, sits higher, and leaves your spine free. For shorter games, hot summer skirmishes, or any scenario where you're running cover-to-cover and don't want a full vest dragging on your shoulders, it's the lighter option.

What it carries. The MK5 from Code 11 Gear has magazine pouches across the front. The pouches sit flat against your chest, so you don't bump a mag on a doorway when you turn.

Shoulder straps and comms. The shoulder straps are adjustable, and the rig sits where you set it — higher for clear line of sight to your mags, lower if you're wearing a helmet mount that would interfere.

Layer it if you need more. The MK5 can work on its own or over a thin tactical vest. The vest carries your plate and admin on the back; the chest rig puts mags front and center. It's how you get the best of both: armor behind you, quick-access mags in front, without a full vest rigging everything to the same piece of webbing.

What it's not for. You won't get plate carry from this rig, and it doesn't replace a vest for long milsim events where you need water, food, and spare gear on your back. It's a focused carry system — mags and a few essentials — not a full loadout platform.
