Optical Dynamics 40mm Illuminator Kit

Optical Dynamics have created one of the strongest, most pure form of light available for outdoorsmen. This next level “flashlight” features patented technology called CALS, Collimated Amplified Lens System, that was specially engineered to project truly clean visibility harmonized light without the use of reflectors or diffusers. Optical Dynamics put together a full kit to get this illuminator all set up on your rifle so you can get right back into action. This kit includes a soft carrying case, rail mount, bungee switch cord, and zippered large carrying case. The OD40 illuminator projects light straight from the LED power source that is gathered and funneled through a single focusable beam, generating exponentially more light than standard flashlight technology. This light is so pure, in fact, that it will not spook animals due to the totally unaltered beam.

Standard flashlights have many reflectors that disperse the light beam into a fan like projection that may light up more of the surrounding area, but will lose a significant amount of actual visibility. Constructed fully from aircraft grade aluminum, this illuminator can easily withstand debris and hard impact. The XM-L2 CREE LED and dual battery power source are capable of providing 720 lumens of light in constant operation for up to 100 minutes. This illuminator can project a focused direct beam up to 200 yards, and a wider less direct beam up to 235yards. Use with a scope to greatly increase your field of vision in low light environments. Airsoft Station would like to note that this illuminator is significantly stronger than an average flashlight, and users take extreme caution to not look directly into the beam or eye damage could occur.
