A straight-cut grip keeps your wrist in a neutral, straight line instead of the downward angle that fore-and-a-back style grips force. This Ranger Armory vertical foregrip is CNC-machined from lightweight aluminum in a skeletonized profile: the open channels cut into the sides reduce material while keeping the body rigid, so you get the low-weight feel without any flex when you're holding onto it.
It mounts to KeyMod slots at any angle around the handguard. KeyMod is the older direct-attach standard, so it only works on KeyMod handguards rather than the more current M-LOK. If your handguard still has KeyMod slots, this is a solid swap from the foam or polymer grips that ship on a lot of rifles.
The red anodized finish is a deliberate two-tone callout against black or FDE furniture. One grip, mounted with the single included screw.
