S&T Reproduction ZF39 Type Side Mount Set, for Kar98k, Black

Kar98k bolt-action airsoft rifles don't have a top rail, so mounting a scope means bolting a side mount to the receiver. This S&T ZF39-type set is built for that job.

It includes the side mount base and a rail segment. You bolt the base to the Kar98k receiver, then the rail accepts any Weaver-style scope in the standard 1-inch or 30mm tube diameter. The scope is not included — just the mounting hardware.

Side mounts sit offset, so the eyepiece is not centered over the bore. That means you need to zero from your actual shooting position rather than assuming the point of aim matches the crosshair center. Most bolt-action players find the offset straightforward once you dial it in, but it's worth setting up at home before game day rather than at the chrono station.

Before you buy, confirm the mount's receiver cut matches your specific Kar98k model. S&T, Action Army, and Silverback receivers all use side mounts, but the bolt pattern and receiver width can vary between brands. This set is cut for S&T Kar98k receivers. Mounting it to a different brand's receiver may require checking clearance or using shims.
