The Seal Quick Release Medical Kit Second Gen is Code 11 Gear's answer to a simple but critical problem: how fast can you get a tourniquet out of a pouch attached to your belt when everything's moving and your gloves are on? The defining feature is the quick-release buckle on the front. It's not a zipper or a flap with a hook-and-loop closure that has to be peeled back — you press the buckle, the pouch opens, and your contents are accessible immediately. That's the difference between seconds that matter and seconds you waste fumbling.
What's inside. The pouch is essentially a flat organizer. It carries a standard-issue tourniquet (the elastic retention loop on top keeps it seated and ready) and has the room for basic wound dressing, gauze, or an chest seal. The overall footprint is 22 by 25 centimeters with a slim 3-centimeter depth, so it carries what you need without adding bulk to your belt. The Cordura fabric is the kind of material that takes abrasion without showing it — built to survive on the ground, not just hanging on a rack.
How it carries. The Quick Release system mounts to a standard tactical belt via its own buckle interface, and the sides have MOLLE webbing for stacking additional pouches or hanging off a plate carrier if that's your setup. It sits flush enough that it doesn't catch on things when you're moving through tight spaces. The pouch is designed as a companion carry — small enough to not fight you, large enough to actually hold what it's supposed to.
Before you buy. This pouch ships empty. The tourniquet, dressings, and any medical supplies are not included — you load it with whatever your field medical kit calls for. The weight at roughly 0.19 pounds is the pouch alone.
Quick-release caveat. The buckle is fast and reliable when you need it, but that also means it can deploy if it catches on something — a low doorframe, another player's weapon, a tight lane. It's the trade-off you make for speed. A quick-release that doesn't accidentally deploy is a quick-release that doesn't release fast. You decide whether the risk fits your play style, and if it does, it's hard to beat for the job.
