As a licensed product, the SP223 follows the exquisite design of the original in every detail, including Seekins Precision-made bolt catch, magazine release mechanism, and selector. The rifle is finely tuned to the point of supreme trigger response, cyclic rate, and accuracy. The reinforced gearbox features a piston with steel teeth, cylinder head, and nozzle made of aluminum, excellent ETU, and a new MOFSET design.

The neodymium motor provides reliable performance and powers the rifle's action. Once the magazine's depleted, the cutoff system prevents dry-firing, notifying the player that it's time to reload. These features have become a staple of Seekins Precision quality, and EMG partnered with the manufacturer to provide this singular licensed AR-15 AEG intended for training.

The receiver is built to be lighter than the steel variants while giving the user all of the benefits. The material used is a sturdy aluminum alloy. Along with the premium-quality insides, the SP223 continues to impress on the outside. When it comes to the rail, the design is completely faithful to the blueprints, even down to its weight and the way it feels.
