Airsoft demands face protection that actually stays on during a sprint, and the G4 System is Sentinel Gears' answer to that problem. The BUMP design is the standard across competitive play for a reason: the shell and integrated visor form one continuous protective curve with no weak points where a stray round can get through. The G4 takes that proven shape and adds a modular breakdown system so you can strip out sections that don't fit your head, instead of accepting a loose helmet because "that's how these things are."
Fit that adjusts to you. The G4 System lets you separate internal components to make room for larger head sizes, and the adjustable chin strap locks everything in place once you dial it in. Five EPP foam padding panels line the interior, backed with low-density vinyl compound for comfort and impact absorption. That combination keeps the helmet comfortable for full game days without the hard-point headaches that come with cheaper foam setups. The 1000D nylon components give you durability without the weight penalty of full polymer construction. At 2.75 lbs, this is lighter than most full-metal helmets in the BUMP class.
Where your gear goes. Picatinny adapter guide rails are built in, so you can run a light, PEQ box, or comms headset without bolting on extra mounts. On top, the low-carbon steel NVG mount is rigid enough for camera rigs and keeps them from bouncing loose when you're moving fast. The ABS polymer shell and nylon lower are designed to carry this kit without flexing.
The visor. A carbonized PC lens covers the front, and the carbonization treatment is what keeps it from getting scuffed down by brush, gear contact, and the occasional accidental scrape. It prevents common scratches and surface abrasions, though it's not rated for direct impact like a polycarbonate ballistic shield would be. A lens cleaning cloth is included so you can keep it clear between games.
Colour and what's in the box. The Mad colorway pairs dark tones across the shell and lower. You get the helmet, EPP padding, the lens cleaning cloth, and a manual. The manual covers the breakdown system, which is worth reading before your first game — knowing how to adjust the fit and reassemble the chin strap properly saves fumbling in the gear-up area.
