I had two flaws in my gear set one rather large. One being the separate gears in the spur gear had slightly seperated from eachother on one side cuasing an imbalance, and rubbing on the sector gear face. Two being a loose grub screw in the sector gear weakening the gear and interfering with the sector plate. The screw was fixable but the spur gear is not unfortunately.
