SHS's 32:1 Steel Gear Set is a torque set for Version 2 and Version 3 AEG gearboxes. The ratio gives the motor more mechanical advantage, so it pulls a heavy spring with less current, runs cooler, and is harder to stall mid-cycle. The trade is rate of fire: cycles are slower, which suits a high-FPS build, while a fast CQB rifle wants a lower ratio. The gears are steel, chosen because a heavy spring loads each tooth hard, and SHS recommends installing them with a properly reinforced piston and re-shimming after fitting.
