This 10.8:1 high-speed gear set significantly reduces cycle latency, providing a much faster trigger response than standard 18:1 or 13:1 ratios. The sector gear comes with a 3-tooth short-stroke on the release side right out of the box. This prevents Piston Pre-Engagement (PME) at high ROF and saves you the bench time of grinding teeth manually.

To manage the high rotational stress and instant peak torque of brushless motors, these gears utilize a helical tooth profile on the spur gear. This design provides a larger contact patch than traditional straight-cut gears, reducing mechanical friction and gear whine for a quieter cycle. At a 10.8:1 ratio, the drivetrain is under heavy load; a precise shim job and a reinforced gearbox shell are mandatory to prevent shell fracture or tooth-shear.
