An AEG fires because the trigger contacts press against two small contacts on the end of the motor shaft. Over time, those factory contacts pit and corrode from repeated arcing, and the connection gets unreliable. A set of Solink gold-plated motor connectors replaces them.
Why gold plating matters. The gold surface gives you the lowest-resistance connection across the trigger-contact gap. Bare brass or zinc-coated contacts oxidize with use and humidity, which shows up as delayed trigger response or intermittent firing. Gold plating resists that corrosion, so the connection stays clean round after round.
What you get. Metal alloy construction, so the connectors hold their shape under repeated contact pressure. They fit standard airsoft AEG motors, and the set comes with shrink tubing to insulate the contact base once you slide it onto the motor shaft. Straightforward install, no soldering required.
