It's a Cordura fabric vest panel with the magazines built into the face — no separate pouches velcroed to a flat front, no plastic inserts rattling around. You pull a mag straight out of its pocket, straight back into the fight. Simple, fast, and it doesn't add bulk to the sides where your elbows need room to work.

What this actually is. The panel is fabric only — it's not a plate pocket, and it doesn't hold a hard armor plate. It's designed to sit on the front of a carrier that already has plate pockets behind it, or to replace a fabric front that's worn thin. Check the panel dimensions against your carrier before running it; not every carrier's front panel is the same size, and a panel that's half an inch too narrow won't sit flush.

The mag layout. A few primary magazines sit in the built-in pouches — enough for your standard load before you start pulling side-mags or reserve mags from elsewhere on the vest.
