Your Hi-Capa holds 17 rounds. An M4 mag holds 120. The TAPP Hi-Capa M4 HPA Magazine Adapter bridges that gap by letting your pistol accept standard M4 AEG magazines, so you spend less time reloading and more time playing.
What it does. This is a one-piece adapter that mounts to the front of your Hi-Capa's magwell and accepts any standard M4/M16 pattern magazine. Hi-caps, mid-caps, low-caps, drums if they fit the rail — whatever you already carry for your rifle works in your pistol. Installation is plug-and-play with no fitting or modification required. It ships pre-assembled with a US-spec HPA Foster fitting built in, so it's also the connection point if you're running an HPA line to the pistol.
Material and fit. Constructed from SLS Nylon PA12 via selective laser sintering, which gives you a lightweight part that's still rigid enough for regular field use. SLS nylon is a step above injection-molded budget plastic — it's denser, less prone to cracking under stress, and holds its shape through temperature changes. The adapter is built for Hi-Capa pistols from WE-Tech, Tokyo Marui, Armorer Works, Novritsch SSP1 and SSP5. If you're running a different platform, don't assume it'll fit.
Why it matters. Gas blowback pistols burn through magazines fast, especially on full auto or when you're aggressive with reload discipline. Carrying two or three 17-round low-caps adds weight and gives you very little ammo buffer. An M4 mag ecosystem means spares are universal and cheap, and you can pull mags from your primary's supply if you're running an M4-pattern rifle in the same loadout. For speedsoft or milsim where reload speed matters, the capacity difference is real.
Before you buy. This is an adapter, not a magazine — you'll need M4-pattern mags separately. The adapter includes the HPA Foster fitting, so if you're not running HPA, that part just sits there. And while the adapter accepts M4 mags, make sure your Hi-Capa model is on the compatibility list before ordering.
