The UK Arms G10A solves a specific problem: what do you carry when you need something that works without batteries, gas, or maintenance? It is a spring-powered pistol built entirely from ABS plastic. Light enough to forget you have it in a pocket or on a belt, simple enough for casual backyard use.
How it works. You rack the slide before every shot. The spring inside compresses, and releasing the trigger fires a single 6mm BB. No semi-auto mode, no gearbox, no battery compartment. Just pull back, release, and pull the trigger. When the magazine runs dry, rack the slide again to chamber the next round. The simplest airsoft platform, and it never fails because there is nothing to fail.
Velocity and use case. Rated at 175 FPS with 0.12g BBs. At that velocity it falls below typical field limits, so it is not a primary gun for competitive play. Use it for backyard plinking, target practice, or as a prop for film work. Some players keep one as a backup sidearm for CQB games with tight velocity limits, but most will find it underpowered for actual skirmishing.
The mock suppressor. The G10A ships with a removable mock suppressor. It does not affect velocity or accuracy; purely cosmetic. Threaded barrels are not present on this model, so the suppressor is a slip-on fit rather than a screw-on attachment.
What you get. The box includes the pistol, one magazine, and the mock suppressor. No battery, no gas, no charger—nothing to buy to get started. The magazine holds a small number of rounds, typical for pistols in this class, so expect frequent reloading during active use.
What this is not. Do not expect to upgrade this. The internals are basic and proprietary, with no standard gearbox or compatible parts. If you want a pistol you can tune, swap springs on, or run with a MOSFET, look at a gas blowback or AEG pistol instead. Treat it as a consumable: cheap, functional, and replaceable.
Buy the G10A if you want something that works out of the box, costs almost nothing to operate, and will not leave you stranded with a dead battery mid-game. It is also for anyone who needs a realistic-looking prop that does not require the maintenance of a functional replica.
