UK Arms G22MS Metal Spring-Loaded Airsoft Pistol, Silver

The G22MS is a no-frills spring pistol for players who want something simple and cheap to throw in a bag. It runs on a manual spring action, so you rack the slide before each shot. No batteries, no gas, no charging. Just load a BB, cock the slide, and pull the trigger. That makes it a natural choice for backyard plinking, dry-fire training, or as a backup sidearm you don't mind leaving in a vehicle.

What the numbers mean. Rated 200 FPS on 0.12g BBs. That puts it well inside indoor and CQB limits, but it is also on the low end for outdoor skirmishing. At that velocity, wind and drop become noticeable past 30 feet. This is a close-range gun, and it is honest about it.

Externals and feel. The slide and frame are zinc metal alloy, which gives it real weight compared to an all-polymer entry pistol. The grip panels are polymer, and the magazine is polymer as well. It includes fixed front and rear sights that are adequate for close target work. The beavertail safety is decorative, not functional.

What you need to get started. The package includes the pistol and an 8-round spring magazine. You will need 6mm BBs. The 200 FPS rating assumes 0.12g BBs; heavier BBs will slow it down further. Battery and charger are not needed, and there is nothing to charge.

What this is not for. This is not a skirmish pistol. It is not upgradeable—the internals are basic and proprietary, and there is no meaningful aftermarket. If you want higher velocity, semi-auto fire, or a platform you can tune, you are looking at a gas blowback or AEG sidearm instead. The G22MS fills the budget and simplicity end of the market, and it does not pretend to do more.
