The T-Rex is WE Tech's 1911-pattern GBB built for one thing: shooting fast with as much steel as they could fit. The 1911 is the simplest platform in airsoft — the manual of arms is universal, the parts are everywhere, and you don't have to think about the gun to run it. This one takes that basic recipe and adds the features that actually matter when the game moves at close range.

It's a lot of steel for a pistol. The slide is full metal, and so are the outer barrel, the accessory rail, the skeletonized trigger, and the hammer. The frame is fiber-reinforced polymer with a black finish — you get the weight and feel of a full-metal build where it counts, without making the pistol so heavy that your arm tires on a long game day. The two-tone colorway layers silver over the metal slide and rail, with the black polymer frame underneath.

The velocity puts it inside CQB. 300–330 FPS on 0.20g BBs means it clears indoor caps comfortably and sits below the threshold where most outdoor fields require an MED. If your regular game is at a CQB center or a tight outdoor CQB lane, this pistol is ready straight out of the box. Chrono before your first event if you play at a field with strict enforcement — gas pressure and ambient temperature both move the number.

Competition touches. The slide is lightning-ported to reduce the weight of the reciprocating mass, which helps the blowback cycle faster and feels snappier on the next shot. The flared magwell guides the mag in blind, and the double-stack 30-round magazine holds more than a real 1911, so you're not counting rounds during a match. Front and rear fiber optic sights give quick target acquisition, and there's a Weaver/Picatinny rail under the barrel with an integrated sight-mount bracket on top of the slide — mount your own micro dot to that bracket, or drop any optic that takes a standard cut.

What a GBB 1911 means for play. It's a Gas Blowback pistol, so the slide cycles with every shot and the recoil kicks like a real 1911. You run green gas, and output drops in cold weather — that's true of every GBB, not just this one. The 30-round mag is platform-standard for Hi-Capa 1911s, so spares are available. The included gas and BBs mean you're not buying the basics separately, though you'll want spare gas and BBs, and a spare mag when the game gets long.

What it isn't. This is a close-range sidearm. The 6.25-inch outer barrel and fiber optic irons make it quick to draw and shoot in tight spaces, but it's not a setup for anything beyond short-range skirmishing. The metal slide means it's going to show wear on the silver finish over time with a lot of gas cycling — that's normal on any two-tone GBB.
