Finished in matte black, the Well L96 uses a rugged ABS polymer stock that keeps the airsoft sniper rifle lightweight. The fluted metal barrel, top receiver rail, and bolt assembly are built from rigid alloy, bringing this 46-inch platform in at 7.2 pounds. Out of the box, the spring-powered airsoft rifle shoots between 460 and 470 FPS using 0.20g BBs, and it features an adjustable hop-up to dial in your accuracy. The package includes the rifle, a folding metal bipod, a tactical sling, a speedloader, a cleaning rod, and starter BBs.

Internally, the airsoft rifle runs on a standard Type 96 system instead of a VSR-10 layout. Because of dimensional differences in the cylinder, piston, and hop-up chamber, standard VSR upgrade parts will not fit. For a quick boost in precision, swap out the factory components for a 6.03mm tightbore inner barrel and a high-performance aftermarket bucking. If you plan to install stiffer springs later for more power, you should also upgrade to a reinforced aluminum piston and a steel 90-degree trigger sear to handle the extra mechanical stress.
