Because this rifle relies on a specialized APS SR-2 internal architecture, standard VSR-10 drop-in components will not fit. Enhancing air compression and downrange shot consistency requires upgrading to a precision tightbore inner barrel and a high-degree aftermarket hop-up bucking. Higher-velocity builds using stiffer springs must be backed by reinforced steel trigger sears to survive the increased mechanical load. Loading the 30-round magazine with premium 0.28g or 0.30g heavyweight match BBs guarantees the tightest possible shot groups.
