WellFire's M40A3 is a spring-powered bolt-action sniper rifle in two-tone finish. It ships unassembled as a receiver/barrel unit and polymer body frame. Once assembled, the adjustable cheek rest and buttstock set the overall length from 47.25 to 49.5 inches while maintaining a balanced 7.2-pound field weight. The metal alloy upper receiver, outer barrel and top optics rail bed directly into the impact-resistant polymer stock.
This platform uses an AWS-style architecture with forward magazine placement rather than the common VSR-10 blueprint, so universal aftermarket parts will not fit. Swapping to a dedicated AWS-compatible 6.03mm precision tightbore inner barrel and high-performance hop-up bucking improves long-range consistency. If you install high-tension springs to raise velocity, a reinforced steel 90-degree sear set protects the trigger box from accelerated wear. For tightest groups, the rifle performs best with premium 0.28g or 0.30g heavyweight seamless match BBs.
The package includes a 30-round magazine, speedloader, sling, cleaning rod and assembly screwdriver. A tri-rail accessory mount runs along the barrel for optics and attachments.
