For field durability, it uses a 28-inch full-metal outer barrel, a metal upper receiver, metal rails, and a manual bolt.

It shoots at a factory muzzle velocity of 370 to 380 FPS using 0.20g BBs and has an external hop-up lever for accuracy adjustments. Additionally, the unique internal footprint does not match standard VSR-10 clones, meaning modifications require specific aftermarket parts. To optimize the platform, look into a 6.03mm tight-bore steel barrel and a better hop-up bucking to tighten your downrange groupings. If you decide to add higher-tension springs later, you should also upgrade to a reinforced steel-sear trigger group to handle the stress. Run heavyweight 0.28g or 0.30g match BBs for the straightest flight path.
