WellFire's MB17 is a spring-powered bolt-action sniper rifle built on the APS-2 platform. It fires single shots at 420–460 FPS with 0.20g BBs, and the entire setup measures 47 inches in length. The construction combines a metal outer barrel and receiver with an ABS plastic body and stock, which keeps weight down while maintaining a realistic feel. It comes with a 26-round magazine and a user manual.

This rifle does not have an adjustable hop-up system, which limits its effective range compared to VSR-10-style snipers. The APS-2 cylinder and sear design is proprietary, so standard VSR-10 upgrade parts will not fit. For better consistency at this velocity, heavier BBs in the 0.28g to 0.32g range are recommended. The top rail accepts Weaver or Picatinny optics, and the package includes the rifle and magazine.
