WellFire constructs the outer barrel, receiver assembly, bolt mechanism, top optics rail, and sling mounts from metal alloy, paired with an L96 thumbhole chassis molded from high-density polymer. Weighing 10 pounds total, the rifle uses an adjustable hop-up to fire single shots between 390 and 410 FPS using standard 0.20g BBs. The package contains the rifle, a magnification scope, a 25-round magazine, a carrying sling, a BB speedloader, and a cleaning rod.

The internal mechanics follow standard Type 96 dimensions rather than proprietary components. Brands such as Action Army, LayLax, and Maple Leaf produce direct-fit upgrade parts for this platform. Installing a tight-bore steel inner barrel and a quality hop-up bucking improves downrange accuracy and tightens shot groupings. If you install heavier power springs later to increase muzzle velocity, you must upgrade the factory cylinder parts to an aluminum piston, a 90-degree steel trigger box assembly, and a steel spring guide to handle the increased compression load.
