WellFire's SV98 is a bolt-action spring sniper rifle built for players who want a realistic manual of arms at a lower price point. It measures 47 inches overall and weighs 9.3 pounds, with a metal receiver and outer barrel paired to an ABS polymer stock. The rifle shoots 420-460 FPS on 0.20g BBs and feeds from a removable 14-round magazine. An adjustable folding bipod is included for stability at distance, and a top-mounted Picatinny rail accepts standard optics.

This model uses a custom internal layout rather than the common VSR-10 or Type 96 platform, so aftermarket upgrade parts don't drop in directly. Without a traditional hop-up unit, accuracy depends on using heavier BBs in the 0.28g to 0.30g range to stabilize shot groups. For players wanting to push velocity higher, reinforced steel trigger sears are recommended to handle the added stress from stronger springs.
