WellFire's MK96 is a bolt-action spring-powered airsoft sniper rifle built on a Maruzen Type 96 platform. It features a folding stock that shortens the overall length from 47 inches to 38 inches for transport and tight spaces, while the metal outer barrel and tri-rail system provide durability and mounting points for optics and accessories. The rifle is rated at 430 to 460 FPS with 0.20g BBs and includes an adjustable hop-up for trajectory tuning.

The Type 96 layout means standard VSR-10 parts are not compatible due to differences in the cylinder and trigger block dimensions. At 9 pounds, the rifle balances realistic weight with manageable handling, using a metal upper assembly mounted to a high-impact polymer chassis. It comes with a 35-round magazine, tactical sling, speedloader, assembly hardware, and instruction manual.
