AGM MP001B Bolt-Action Airsoft Sniper Rifle, Black

Most bolt-action sniper rifles start at a price where buyers expect to upgrade something right away. This AGM MP001B is the exception — it arrives ready to play, and the bundle makes that even clearer.

Bolt action is how you learn to shoot. Manual cycle, breath control, follow-through — it forces a discipline that AEGs and GBBRs don't. The MP001B earns its keep through that mechanic. You pull the bolt back, chamber a round, settle into the sight picture, and break the shot. Repeat. It's slower than an AEG, and that's the point.

Velocity and range. Rated 335–345 FPS on 0.20g BBs. That's a solid bolt-action ceiling for outdoor play at typical sniper caps, and the 2500 BBs included in the bundle let you start right away. Heavier BBs leave slower but hold their line and their spin better, which is exactly what a bolt platform benefits from. Expect comfortable engagement out to 80–120 ft with a good hop-up setup, and maybe a bit more with a clean chrono and heavier BBs. As always, chrono before your first game — ambient temperature and BB weight both move the number.

What it's built from. Aluminum outer barrel, trigger unit, and bolt, paired with an ABS plastic stock. The aluminum parts are where you want metal — the barrel affects heat dissipation and rigidity, the trigger group is where durability matters most, and the bolt is a wear surface. The ABS stock keeps the rifle at 4.25 lbs and the price accessible. It's not a full-metal sniper, but it's also not a toy. The aluminum barrel gives it a solid feel that plastic-through-line builds can't match.

The 29-round magazine is a fair amount for a bolt platform — you can actually run a few strings without cycling through the box before the game ends. Feeding a bolt action is naturally slower than slamming through an AEG mag, so 29 is plenty unless you plan on using the rifle as a backup at CQB, where it clearly isn't the right tool.

The bundle parts. The speed loader included with the rifle is a useful piece of kit — cross-compatible with pistols and AEG mags as well as bolt action. A bag of BBs is also included, along with the 29-round magazine and the manual.

Externals. Overall length runs 42.25 inches — long enough to be a stable sighting platform, short enough to navigate most field cover. Black finish, straightforward design. There's a top rail for optics. The included BBs are a practical touch.

What it isn't. This is not a DMR, not an AEG, and not a gun for chasing high RPS. It's a bolt-action sniper at an accessible price, and it earns its keep through discipline and consistency rather than speed.
