Your goggles protect your eyes. Your mask protects the rest of your face. In airsoft, most fields require both, and that means you need a face covering that stops BBs while still letting you breathe, talk to your team, and hear what's going on around you. The AMA AC-477T half mask is built for exactly that gap.

How it works. A mesh half mask is a layer of fine polymer mesh that sits in front of your nose, mouth, and jaw. The mesh openings are small enough to stop incoming BBs while air passes through freely. You wear goggles over the top — the mask does not cover the eyes — and the two together satisfy the face protection requirement at virtually every field. Tan colourway matches desert and woodland loadouts.

What to expect on the field. Mesh protection is the standard approach for airsoft face coverage: light, breathable, and compatible with comms headsets and helmets. You can talk through it without pulling it down, which matters when you're calling shots. Extended use in heat means you'll get condensation like any face barrier, but mesh recovers faster than solid covers because air moves through it. The mask is cut to sit around the ears with an elastic rear strap that routes behind the head, so it stays put during movement and fits under a helmet without bulk.

Before you buy. This is a half mask only — goggles are sold separately and are required for eye protection. The mesh provides excellent impact resistance for airsoft BBs but is not rated for impact sports like paintball. It's a single mask with no accessories included.
