Face protection is mandatory at almost every field. Goggles cover the eyes; this covers everything else. The half mask protects your jaw, cheeks, and chin while leaving the upper face open for goggles or a helmet.
Hard foam shell with neoprene lining. The impact layer is rigid foam, which absorbs a stray BB better than soft fabric. The neoprene lining sits against your skin, so you get padding without the stiffness of a full polycarbonate face shield. It's the middle ground between a mesh cover and a full-face guard — enough protection for skirmish use, without the bulk or reduced hearing that comes from a full cage.
Half coverage, not full. This is a lower-face mask. It does not cover the eyes, so you'll still need goggles. It also leaves the top of the head exposed, so it pairs with a ball cap or tactical helmet rather than replacing one. If you want a single piece that covers everything, look at a full-face mask instead.
Includes one mask. Fits most adult face sizes, but if you have a particularly narrow or wide face, try it on before game day to make sure the straps seat comfortably.
