Knee and elbow protection you can actually take off when you need to. The AMA Tactical QR set uses quick-release clips instead of full-wrap Velcro, so the pads come off with one hand instead of the fumble of peeling straps while you're sitting down to eat or take cover. When you're back in the game, they clip right back on and lock down.
The protection layer. A thermoplastic polyurethane hard shell sits over high-density foam — the TPU takes the direct impact from a fall, a knee strike on a barrier, or a brush against rough terrain, while the foam absorbs and distributes the force. Nylon straps keep the pad locked to your leg or arm without shifting during movement. The combination is the standard build for airsoft protective gear: light enough to run in, hard enough that a knee on concrete doesn't ruin your day.
Fit and color. The ACU (Army Combat Uniform) camouflage pattern is the two-tone digital design. Straps are adjustable, so sizing covers a wide range of players, but they're not infinite — if you're between sizes or running bulky gaiters, check the strap reach before you order. The ACU colorway pairs with loadouts running that pattern rather than a solid color.
What they're for and what they're not. These are designed for repeated kneeling, crawling, and leaning on rough surfaces — the everyday impacts that happen at any field. They will reduce bruising and abrasion. They will not make you invincible against a direct hit from a heavy DMR, so don't treat them like ballistic plate. Pick up a spare strap set if you play frequently — Velcro loses grip over time, and a strap that won't hold is a pad you'll leave at home.
