Kneeling for cover in full kit is the difference between laying down suppressive fire and watching everyone else through the scope. The UK Arms QR Elbow and Knee Pad Set is built for that moment — quick-release pads that stay on when you need them and come off when you don't.
Quick release means exactly what it says. The QR (Quick Release) buckle system lets you unbuckle and remove each pad in one motion, without taking off your gloves. Useful when you're dropping to a knee for a firing position and need the hard shell out of the way, or when you've been hit and need to flag fast. Reattaching is just as quick — buckle back in and you're running again.
The protection underneath. Each pad combines a hard outer shell with a soft inner layer. The shell takes the impact when you're kneeling on concrete, gravel, or whatever the field throws at it. The cushioning layer sits against the joint so you're not trading knee pain for a firing position. The same principle applies to the elbows, which get hit against walls, gear bags, and the ground when you go in on one knee.
MARPAT pattern. The digital woodland camouflage blends with forest and urban-mixed terrain. If your loadout is already MARPAT — uniform, plate carrier, helmet — these match without standing out as the new gear. Colour choice doesn't affect performance, but looking like you belong to your team is part of the milsim experience.
What to check before you buy. QR pads run on adjustable straps, so they fit a range of leg and arm sizes, but you'll want to verify the manufacturer's sizing chart against your measurements before ordering. A pad that's too tight cuts circulation; one that's too loose shifts when you run. Both are deal-breakers on game day.
