APS 7mm Polymer Bushings for 7mm AEG Metal Gearboxes

When your gearbox starts whining or grinding, the first thing to check is the bushings. These APS 7mm polymer bushings are designed for AEG metal gearboxes.

Polymer bushings are the durable choice for standard to moderately upgraded setups. Anything running a heavy spring or extreme rates of fire will benefit from 8mm bearings instead, but for a stock or lightly tuned gearbox, these are the right call.

What they do. The bushings sit in the gearbox shell and carry the three gear shafts: pinion, bevel, and sector. As the gears spin, they rotate on these bushings. Worn bushings create play, which leads to misalignment and the classic gearbox whine. Swapping them out is cheap insurance when you're already inside the box.

Fit and compatibility. These are 7mm bushings for AEG metal gearboxes. If your gearbox uses 8mm bearings or 6mm bushings, these won't fit. Check what your current setup uses before ordering.

Before you buy. Installing bushings means splitting the gearbox. If you're not comfortable doing that work yourself, budget for a technician. And if your gearbox is already showing signs of gear damage or a cracked shell, new bushings alone won't fix it—inspect the whole assembly.
