If your Army Armament R17 gas magazine cracked its bottom plate or you just want a spare on hand, this is the OEM replacement. It's a direct-fit ABS polymer cap that snaps into the R17 magazine body, so you do not need to hunt for a third-party part that might not seat right.
The plate takes the impact when you set the magazine down or rack it against your gear, which is why it wears out first. ABS polymer is the material the original uses — not cheap, not fragile, and it does not add noticeable weight. You get one bottom cap in the package, and it fits the Army Armament R17 gas magazine platform specifically. This is not a universal magazine part.
You will need your existing magazine body to use this. The bottom plate alone does not make a functional magazine.
