Atlas Custom Works AAP-01 Aluminum Outer Barrel Type D, Green

The AAP-01 is already a solid GBB platform, but the stock outer barrel is one of those parts you notice more when it's missing than when it's there. This Atlas Custom Works Type D swaps in a machined aluminum tube that looks the part and holds its finish through a season of range days. At 60 grams, it's light enough that you won't feel the weight shift in your hand, but substantial enough to give the slide a more premium feel when it cycles.

What an outer barrel actually does. This is purely an external upgrade. It doesn't touch the inner barrel, hop-up, or gearbox, so your velocity, grouping, and range stay exactly where they were. What changes is the look and the balance. A machined aluminum outer barrel gives you a cleaner profile, sharper machining lines, and a colour that doesn't scuff off after a few drops on the pavement.

Type D specifics. The Type D design runs the full length of the slide travel without interfering with the blowback action. The green finish is anodized, not painted, so it won't chip or wear through to bare metal the way cheaper coatings do. It threads at the muzzle end, which opens up mock suppressors, compensators, or tracer units that fit standard airsoft muzzle devices.

Before you buy. This is for the Action Army AAP-01 GBB pistol only. It won't fit the AAP-01's siblings or other GBB platforms. If you're chasing range or accuracy, look at the inner barrel and hop-up instead—this won't move those numbers.
