Barrel threads get damaged faster than most players expect. A dropped suppressor, a bumped table, or just threading a muzzle device on and off a few times can strip the first couple of threads. Once that happens, your suppressor, flash hider, or tracer unit won't seat right, and you're looking at a barrel replacement or a thread insert.

The ANGLES/DIPS thread protector from Atlas Custom Works keeps those threads safe when you're not running a muzzle device. It screws directly onto your 14mm CCW barrel—the standard on most airsoft rifles—and takes the abuse instead of your barrel. The flared angles and dips design gives it a distinct look, but the job is purely functional: preserve the threads until you're ready to mount something.

At 16mm long, it's compact enough that it won't throw off balance or snag on gear. The aluminum construction is light and won't corrode. Gold anodization matches other gold-finished accessories if you're building a coordinated look.

What you need. This fits any airsoft gun with 14mm CCW (negative) threading. That's the most common standard on M4s, AKs, and most western platforms. If your barrel is 14mm CW (positive) or 11mm, you'll need an adapter first. The package includes one thread protector.

What it is not. This is not a muzzle brake, flash hider, or suppressor. It does not affect velocity, recoil, or sound. It's a cap for your threads.
