The AKS-74u is already the most compact rifle in your armory. The stock handguard is smooth plastic with nowhere to mount anything. This replaces it with 5 inches of metal that carries rail space along the top and sides, so you can add a vertical foregrip, angled grip, or a small flashlight where you need it. On a carbine this short, every millimeter counts, and this keeps the profile tight while giving you the mounting points the factory left off.
Full metal construction. It's heavier than the plastic it replaces, but it won't crack under grip pressure or get chewed up when you're racking it in a vest slot. Fits LCT, GHK, and DBoys AKS-74u AEG rifles. Not all AKS-74u variants use the same handguard, so confirm your model before ordering. Installs by swapping out the factory guard, and the handguard ships alone — no foregrip or hardware included.
