Weapon-mounted laser. That's what this is — a green-beam designation and aiming module that lives on your rail and keeps your sight picture clear while you point someone at a target. The DBAL-A2 form factor is the most recognizable PEQ shape in milsim, so it reads as the real thing to anyone who knows.
Green laser is the most visible beam in daylight. The red ones you've probably seen work fine indoors, but outdoors the green is what people actually notice. That means faster identification and less time calling shots while your teammate's still squinting.
The pressure switch is how you fire it without breaking the hold. You squeeze the muzzle device and the laser comes on, release and it shuts off. Works through gloves. That's the one feature that makes a weapon-mounted laser genuinely useful in a game rather than just a visual prop.
Mounts to standard Picatinny rail. Most rifles have a side or bottom slot available, and the DBAL-A2 profile is compact enough it won't snag on cover. The housing is nylon plastic in black — light enough not to drag your balance point, rigid enough to stay zeroed.
Most fields allow visible lasers for daytime play. IR lasers get more complicated with goggles and rules, so if your loadout is day-only, this is simpler and easier to justify to a marshal. If you're running full-spectrum with night games, you'll want an IR module alongside this one.
Before you buy. The PEQ box comes with the pressure switch. Battery is not included, so grab what the unit takes before game day. And if you're mounting this on a rifle with a mock suppressor, factor in the combined length — some fields have restrictions on total weapon length with muzzle devices attached.
