Atlas Custom Works 1500Rd Electric Winding High Capacity M249 AEG Magazine, Ranger Green

The M249 is a support weapon. Your role is to lay down sustained fire while your teammates maneuver. That means emptying mags fast, and that means stopping to reload or wind constantly. The Atlas Custom Works electric winding box magazine solves that with a motor that cranks for you, so you keep the trigger pulled instead of fumbling with a hand crank.

How the electric winding works. A built-in rechargeable battery powers a motor that feeds the belt automatically. You flip a switch and the mag winds itself, readying 1500 rounds without you touching a crank handle. A pressure switch is included for manual control, letting you toggle between auto-winding and on-demand feeding depending on the situation. When the battery runs low, plug in the included charging cable.

Capacity and role. 1500 rounds puts you in true support gunner territory. That's enough to hold a position, cover a team advance, or suppress an enemy position without constantly worrying about ammo. The box design keeps the weight distributed and the profile lower than a drum, which helps with balance during longer engagements.

What fits. This is built for M249 platforms: Atlas Custom Works, Classic Army, and other M249 AEGs. It is not a universal mag for every gun labeled "M249-style" — verify your specific model's compatibility before ordering. Box mags like this are platform-specific in a way that M4 mags simply aren't.

What you get. The package includes the 1500-round box magazine, a pressure switch for manual control, and a charging cable. The exterior is in Ranger Green, matching M249 loadouts.

Before you buy. This is a support weapon accessory, not a compact option. If you're running a short-barreled M249 or need something that fits in a standard plate carrier, the bulk and weight of a 1500-round box mag will be a factor. The electric winding adds convenience but also adds weight and the need to keep it charged. If you're playing a light infantry role or prioritizing mobility, a mid-cap or lower-capacity box might suit better. For the designated gunner who needs to stay in the fight, this is the right tool.
