If your field rifle uses a stock that either has no QD button at all or one positioned so you can't reach it without contorting, this mount is the fix. It replaces or extends the stock's rear end to give you a proper QD button you can actually press on the field.
What you're getting. The Extended Stock QD Mount adds roughly an inch or two of length to the stock body, depending on the platform, which moves the QD button to a spot that's within reach without shifting your cheek weld or shoulder position. It's machined from metal — the body is tough and won't flex or crack the way polymer replacements can — and it ships with a QD swivel, so you can mount your sling straight out of the box.
Compatibility. This is made for Wide Army (Atlas Custom Works) M4 series stocks and Tokyo Marui M4 MWS (M4 Modular Weapon System) stocks, which are the most common aftermarket M4 stocks on the hobby's two biggest platforms — WA and TM. It's designed to drop in on other compatible M4-pattern stocks, so if your gun uses one of those platforms, there's a very good chance it'll fit without modification. If your stock lacks a dedicated QD button cutout, you'll need to drill or mill a small spot to accept the button — most players use a step bit and five minutes to do it.
Who it's for. Players running single-point slings or two-point setups who want a secure QD attachment that doesn't wiggle around. If your stock already has a well-positioned, solid QD button, this isn't needed. If you're building a fresh loadout and want the QD right from the start, this is a cheap way to make sure it's there.
Black finish. Includes QD swivel.
