Atlas Custom Works Flip Dot Reflex Sight, Black

You need a sight that won't argue with you when you're in position. The Atlas Custom Works flip dot is a reflex optic designed for one thing: fast, one-handed target acquisition with nothing to fiddle with.

How it works. A red dot projected onto the front lens gives you a true one-eye-open aiming point. Both eyes open, target centered, dot on target, squeeze. No magnification to lose in the rush, no parallax to worry about at typical engagement ranges. The reticle floats over the sight picture, so you're tracking your target, not searching through glass.

Flip-up covers, built in. The signature feature is the flip-up design. The protective covers hinge right on the optic so you can't misplace them, and the lenses stay clear of debris when you're moving between positions or clearing gear out of a bag. Flip the front cover up when you go active, flip it down when you pack it away. Simple.

Built to survive. Aluminum housing, matte black finish. It's not the lightest optic you'll find, but the metal body means it stands up to impacts and rough handling without cracking. A red dot that survives a drop from a range bench is a red dot you can actually rely on.

Before you buy. It runs on a battery, so pack spares for longer days. Mounting to a picatinny top rail is straightforward with the included hardware; if you want to co-witness with your iron sights, you'll typically need a low-riser mount, which is sold separately. And a reflex sight is fast at short and mid range, not a precision tool for long-distance work—if your role demands dialing in shots downrange, this isn't the optic for it.
