Adding length to a short-barrelled airsoft rifle does two things: it gives you the profile of a full-length SOCOM build and it changes the way the gun looks at range. This from Atlas Custom Works screws onto any 14mm CCW threaded barrel — the standard rifle thread — so it fits AEGs, GBBRs, and HPA builds alike. The quick-detach system is the practical part: when you need the compact CQB setup, it comes off.
How it works. Screw it on like a muzzle device, and the 3.5-inch extension adds length straight to the end of your barrel. The aluminum body is light for its length, and the steel flash hider at the tip adds realism and a bit of end weight that helps balance the front end. The inner barrel tube runs 38mm inside, which means it’s not a hollow tube — there’s a real bore that your shot travels through. That extra tube length interacts with your gun’s cylinder volume, so if you’re running a ported cylinder on a short barrel, notice how the extension changes your shot pattern and tune accordingly.
What it gives you. SOCOM-style profile on a carbine or compact build without committing to a permanent barrel swap. The quick-detach design means you can run it extended for outdoor games where you want the look and the extra length, then strip it off for tight indoor lanes. It’s an external modification that sits between your muzzle and your loadout, and it does its job without touching internals.
Before you buy. This requires 14mm CCW (negative) threading on your barrel. AK-pattern guns sometimes run 14mm CW (positive), which won’t thread directly — an adapter is the fix. It’s not a tracer unit; it doesn’t light BBs or draw power. Battery, tools, and your host gun are all separate.
