Weapon-mounted lights and lasers answer two practical needs: seeing your target in low light and seeing where your sights point when your hands are on a forend. The LA-PEQ15 from Atlas Custom Works puts both in one compact, Picatinny-mountable unit with the familiar PEQ15 form factor that fits naturally on modern M4-pattern and AK loadouts.
What you get. A white LED light and a green laser in one housing. The light handles illumination — scanning rooms at indoor CQB, spotting obstacles after dark, identifying players at range. The green laser gives a visible aiming reference on your target, which helps when your eyes are on the target instead of your rear sight. Green is the standard colour because the human eye sees it more clearly than red across most lighting conditions.
Momentary and constant modes. Both the light and laser have two settings. Momentary means it stays on only while you're pressing the switch — useful for a quick scan without draining batteries or drawing attention. Constant locks it on, which is what you want when you need sustained light on a target. Toggle between modes with a detent on the unit's selector.
Adjustable aiming. Windage and elevation adjustment lets you zero the laser so its dot aligns with your point of impact. Set it up at the range — pick a distance you'll actually shoot at, fire a few rounds, and dial it in — and you'll have a reliable reference for game day. Drift over time is normal on any laser module, so plan on rechecking after heavy use.
How it mounts. The unit sits on any standard Weaver or Picatinny rail. Activation comes from an included pressure switch that mounts on the forend with a wired connection. If your rail has a port for the wire to pass through, you're good to go. If not, you'll need an aftermarket forend or handguard with an integrated wire port — stock rails on most entry-level replicas don't have one, so plan ahead if yours doesn't.
Polymer body. The LA-PEQ15 is built from durable polymer, which keeps weight down and makes it lighter than the metal original. It's built for airsoft use, not military spec, and that's the trade — you get the form factor and function at a price point that makes replacing it a real option if something happens at a game.
A note on lasers and field rules. Many fields ban or restrict lasers during active play. Some allow them indoors, some don't allow them at all. Check your field's rules before you bring one — showing up with a laser and being told to tape it off is worse than knowing ahead of time.
Before you buy. Powered by two CR123A batteries, which are sold separately. Keep spares on hand for game day. This is an airsoft replica — no IR emissions, no night-vision compatibility. It does what it says: a light for seeing, a laser for aiming, both in a package that looks like the real thing.
