Atlas Custom Works M1 Micro Red Dot Sight, Tan

You need an optic that doesn't change how your gun feels in your hand. The Atlas Custom Works M1 Micro is one of the smaller red dots in its class, which means it stays out of your line of sight and doesn't add weight to the rail. On a pistol or a compact carbine, that's the difference between an optic you actually use and one you zero once then ignore.

Red dot reticle. The M1 uses a red dot, which is standard for this class of optic. Red tends to have the edge in low light, while green dots usually pop better in bright daylight — so if your field play style leans one way, that's worth factoring in when you pick your sight.

Micro sights like this pair with standard Picatinny rails, and QD bases are available separately if you want to swap it between platforms without losing zero.

Windage and elevation knobs are on top, easy to reach without shifting your cheek weld. Protective glass over the lens keeps field debris off the reticle.

What it is not. A micro sight is a fast-acquisition optic for close to mid-range engagements. It does not magnify, and it's not a substitute for a scope when you're playing the DMR role. If you need range, this is the wrong tool. If you need speed and want something small enough to live on a pistol rail, it's exactly the right one.

Power. Battery operated, with an accessible battery compartment on top of the housing. Check what cell size it takes when the box opens, since some micro sights use less common formats.
