Atlas Custom Works OKP-7 Red Dot Sight w/ AK Side Mount, Black

If you run an AK with a side rail, the OKP-7 solves a specific mounting problem. Most red dots need a top Picatinny rail, but many AK builds don't have one. The Atlas Custom Works OKP-7 comes with an integrated AK side mount, so you get a secure optic without adding a rail to the upper receiver.

How the mount works. The base attaches to the standard AK side rail system. This keeps the sight locked in place during rapid fire and heavy movement, and it maintains zero better than a rail adapter clamped to the handguard. When you remove the optic, the side rail stays on the rifle.

The OKP-7 design. Open housing with a hooded lens shroud. The shroud cuts glare and protects the glass from bumps. The red reticle is bright enough for daytime use, and the open window gives you a clear view of the target without a magnified sight picture. Windage and elevation dials are simple to adjust in the field.

Build and fit. Aluminum construction keeps weight down without sacrificing durability. Low profile design pairs with the side mount to keep the optic aligned with your natural shooting position on compact and full-size AK replicas. The mount fits Weaver/Picatinny rails if you need to adapt it elsewhere.

Before you buy. This requires an AK with a side rail. If your rifle only has a top Picatinny rail, you'll need a different optic or an adapter. Battery and mounting hardware are not included.
